life of late & happy lists

yesterday, I was lying on my bed listening to a few soundtracks when I got a burst of inspiration. I haven't been taking many pictures lately because of just lack of inspiration, time, and proper lighting. ((Most of my free time is in the evening, and since I am such a huge nut about natural light, I almost refuse to take photos when it is dark.)) I grabbed my camera ((or technically my dad's but... yeah)), made myself a cup of peppermint tea, my vintage camera, and two of my favorite books and went out on our back porch. It was rather cold, but it felt like I could breath.

I've been finding more about who I am in Christ and who He has destined me to be. and yesterday, I felt like I was able to grab another piece of the puzzle, and though the puzzle is far from finished, I am gaining more pieces and someday they will come together.

reading:

the book of Ephesians (it's my favorite book in the Bible. #sogood)
October Baby (actually I've already read it twice. it is ahh-mazing)
The Horse and His Boy (I only have one book left in the Narnia series. #yay!)

listening:

"Who You Are" - JJ Heller
"First Dance" - Amanda Falk
"I Love You This Big" - Scotty McCreery
"Everything Falls" - Fee
"Good to Be Alive" - Jason Gray
"Broken & Beautiful" - Mark Schultz

loving:

nail polish.
writing about what's on my heart.
cloudy days.
#hashtags. I use them a lot.
cups and cups of tea.
you might be a homeschooler if... III
my necklace from Clairs. It took me forever to decide on which one I wanted to buy... honestly, why can't I just live in there?

  2. I just watched the third "You Might Be a Homeschooler"-and died of course.

I love your rabbit mug-is it Beatrice Potter-love all her stuff. Someday if I have babies the nursery will be decorated like that ala Potter Barn.

I love your photos-I need to learn to take lovely natural light photos, but currently I am enemies with my DSLR.

Is the book October Baby an after movie thing-like the Courageous group of movies did? I watched the movie and ADORED it-which I was not expecting. I wanna watch it again actually, which I also was not expecting.
