everything is new.

*well, this was suppose to publish two days ago but it never did.. so here you have it. I have some important things to announce later this weekend, but for now you just have to wait*

It is raining! If you have been hanging around here for a little bit you have probably picked up that I adore rain. ;) I like it better than sunshine, really. There is something about it that just calms me, maybe it's the sound, or the smell or just the fact that is seems to make everything new again. The last couple of days have been difficult not for any particular reasons but they've just been not the best. But tonight I went on a walk in the rain, and it seemed to just melt all my troubles away. I just felt made new and fresh. And I felt alive. and happy

I went to my friend how who lives out in the country and these are just some photos I took when she and I went on a walk.  

and I am going to go on a long trip for the month of June. I will probably be popping in now and then, but not super often. I will have some posts scheduled and some guest posters will be in call. :)

last weekend was spent with my best friend Amy. we hadn't seen each other in over a year. it was the best weekend I've had this year. we laughed so hard and talked non-stop (just ask her family  ::wink:: )  

and we made a happiness list

it was the most fun time I've had in a while. I love her so much!

- the picture above... so much for taking a last day of school photo :P
there were defiantly photo bombers around

- typing and talking at the same time, and typing what you are saying instead of what you are suppose to type.

- having your inbox flooded by 4 girls (one a teacher) (myself included) sending over 15+ emails just talking about a pizza party and teacher gifts. wow, do we talk a lot...maybe

-being told "you have really grown up!" by a 17 year old guy... seriously dude, it's only been a year.

- going shopping in Walmart and knocking clothes off the racks every where I went 

- Bed, Bath, and Beyond shopping: so, we were going to go to Bed, Bath and Beyond, and my Mom had already gotten out of the car and was walking toward the store, and  I was quickly grabbing a drink of water before I went in. I tried to put the lid on and almost dumped it on me, and then I started walking quickly to catch up with Mom, and I dropped my purse, had to scoop back all my stuff back in and then I started walking as I was stuffing everything back in and almost walked into a tree. and then I almost walked into a car, and then I walked into the store just like I was any other normal person. fail.

- trying to stay behind the bushes at the park because someone was taking wedding photos behind us

- having a gazillion err... hundred pens in my purse at the same time.

-waking up with my hand tightly holding my finger because I had dreamed I had cut my finger

awesome:

- cool evening walks to the park

- getting a $5 giftcard to Starbucks.. I'm telling you, it pays to be on StuCo (student counsil) at my co-op

- sending the entire weekend with my bestie Amy! It was packed full of photo shoots, shopping, frappes, chocolate, movies, and lots of laughs, giggles and squeals.

- thrift stores. seriously we got some major deals on Saturday

- finding stuff that you never knew was in the Bible: Proverbs 3:24 "When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet."
