a walk at sunset...

 before we left on our trip, Trish and I went on a walk down to the lakes (or more like ponds) we had to hurry because it was getting dark really quickly, but the sunset was gorgeous. 

well, all Colorado sunsets are pretty epic! 

I was pretty happy to get a little bit of sun-flare on the first one.

Honestly, sun-flare is one of the hardest things for me to catch, I only have a few picture with it. 

Any tips?

five plus three = eight

well, as the title says 5 + 3 = 8.  

Last week we added 3 more boys to our family, Antonio [age 6] Hector [age 4] Estebon [age 3].

It's been quite the adventure.. to say the least, but they are the most darling boys. 

Last night, I was whipping up some mashed potatoes in the mixer when the boys came inside. They smelled the corn that was cooking and Estebon came over to inform me: 

"You aren't suppose to mix corn up in the mixer, 

that isn't how you do it." 

they are hilarious.

[and excuse the fact that Hector is missing in all but the first picture, he was kind of throwing a fit. :P]

wildfire sunsets.

we are having a huge wildfire happening in Colorado. 

But our sunsets have been amazing. like really amazing.

 okay, so I've got some cute cousins, but Danya is one of the cutest. :) she is currently toothless, or pretty much... and is all around a drama queen in a good way. ;) I couldn't stop taking pictures of her when we were camping. She was my little sunshine. We went on walks, waded in the creek, braided hair, and played games.

For as long as I can remember, a globe has sat on top of the bookshelf at my home. I recall how my mom would take it down during our geography lessons, pointing out different locations and I would run my finger over the bumpy mountain regions, finding different countries and states. The world globe was always fascinating to me, but it never crossed my mind to wonder what those various countries were like. But now I do wonder and I want to travel. Greece, Italy, Rome, Paris, Ireland-the google images just don't satisfy my craving for travel. One day I will go to where my heart longs, taking on the form of a tourist and loving every second of it.

just an update

well, this is going to be a super short post, but for the record I am in West Virginia right now... at my uncle and aunt's. we are going to be going home in about 10 days or so. So I will be back soon. I've missed blogging but it was nice to have a bit of a break. When I get back I have thousands of pictures to post. (but don't worry, I will not post them all at once. ;)
