ramblings...

Ok, so I've gotta admit I got the idea from Raquel, she did a post where she just rambled. So, buckle your seat belts, I'm about to take off. :)

I've been listening to a lot more music than I usually do. I just can't get enough. When ever I have a new favorite song I listen to it like 50 times (in all seriousness!) and I still won't get tired of it.  Trish (my sister) does though ;) 

I am totally loving Phil Wickham's new song "Sun and Moon".

It seems like everything is Superbowl this, Superbowl that. I am not a sports person... at all! I don't know a thing about sports teams and anything I do know about football comes from Facing the Giants. :) 

Last week at our home school group, in Spanish class:

John: who are you cheering for in the Superbowl?

Me: uhh.. I don't know who is even going to the Superbowl

John: *shakes head* okay, the Giants and the New England Patriots

Me: okay, I'll go with the Patriots

John: What!?! They are the ones that beat the Broncos

Me: Oops, okay, I cheer for the Giants!

You, see when you live in Colorado, and rather close to Denver, you cheer for the Broncos, because if you don't... well.....this was in our local newspaper

"If you're not rooting for the Broncos, I'll never like you again."

-from a 9-year old to an 8-year old.

Speaking of the Broncos, did you know that when Tim Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye blacks, Google had 92 million hits for "John 3:16! 

Way to go, Tebow!! 

Oh, I am seeing the most pretty sight ever! My blind is wide open and the sun is setting over the mountains, and my room has a pinkish glow all over. I'd show you a picture, but you would have 2 big (ugly) houses in the way. I'm so excited for Valentine's Day... no, nothing special, just that my birthday is the day after. :D 

I think I'm going to bake something special instead of a normal cake... I was going to make macaroons, but they take rice flour and that is kinda expensive.. I'm leaning toward a cake roll. 

Speaking of food, I'm in the food unit in my Spanish class, and we are getting to plan our own menus. It is actually fun.  

Well, I think that is about enough rambling for tonight... :)

I'm going to post a craft tutorial for something cute later this week, and a quote post is in the making!
