"come morning light, you and i'll be safe and sound."

if you've hung around here for any amount of time, you've probably picked up that i have a thing for light (and bokeh). light captivates me in a way few things do. i can't help finding myself drawn to contrast and patterns, sunflares and sunspots, and golden hour. however, usually late morning light gets passed by my eyes. it's much harsher and glaring than i prefer and i tend to brush it by and dream of golden hour.
well, one morning this week, i was on our porch hanging out some laundry and i finally found the beauty i hadn't been able to see before.
and man, was it ever lovely.

ReplyDeleteDid you get a new editing system?! I swear, your pictures are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteohmygosh, you are way too sweet! i haven't upgraded my editing program yet, (i'm still using gimp, and dreaming of lightroom, haha) but i'm really hoping i can make that investment really soon!
Deletethank you so much for your sweet words- they completely made my day!
These are so beautiful! Light captivates me too. =) It's so enchanting. I love how you captured the hour. I've been trying to document what my backyard looks like during different times of day. So far I've done 8pm and 7pm and it makes me pause and realize how each hour has it's own beauty. =)
ReplyDeletethese are so pretty! i really like the light and often i take wayyyyyyyy (like i mean wayyyy) to many pictures and don't use them all. but i love light, especially right before the sun go's down. the crisp air and the blueness of the clear sky is just beautiful.

ReplyDeleteoh these are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new reader to your blog and I have to say it's very heart-warming and sweet. :) I love these photos -- I have a thing for light too. When you capture those shots where the sun is slanted *just* right. Sigh, it's just a lovely thing. :)
ReplyDeleteahhhh! lovely photos dear! you are so talented!
