*well, this was suppose to be posted on monday, but life kinda happened.*
Photography is one of my favorite things ever, and I've always loved baking...so naturally combining the two is the best. I've always been fascinated by food photography (I still have a load of food pictures from when I first gained an interest in photography). My food board on pintrest is one of my largest boards. I constantly scroll through it and get blown away at people's culinary and photography skills. I've attempted it several times, but the results weren't what I was looking for. I got a mini donut maker for my birthday, so last Sunday afternoon I decided to make some donuts and attempt trying food photography again.
after some disastrous attempts... (note to self: next time don't let the pan get so hot. it ruins the donuts)
the donuts finally turned out perfectly. and they tasted yummy too. and guess what? the photos are better than the last time. :)
so, what are your thoughts on food photography?

ReplyDeleteHaha tons of my pictures are of food :) I'll be in the middle of cooking dinner, and the strawberries with powdered sugar on them just look so perfect, so I'll drop my knife and go grab my camera ;) Making dinner takes longer, but I get some good pictures, so it's ok ;)
