this is a collaboration of the last 2 weeks:
awkward:
- walking smack-dab into the door post
- going through random collections of stuff and finding scraps of paper, cut outs and everything
else under the sun.
- sending an email to someone who you didn't mean to
- stepping on a lego
- finding out that Audrey Assad is married... what! I've loved her music for a long time and never knew she was married. {later: okay, so she recently got married, I wasn't that oblivious, right?}
- wishing that we wouldn't have had spring break at Options {our home school group} weird right?
- algebra
- opening a small little think of applesauce and having it shoot out over your arm. note to self: next time don't press so hard on the foil while you are pulling open the tab.
- accidentally shutting down your web browser in the middle of a timed speech
- painting nails on your right hand (when you are right handed that is)
- watching students have graded conversations in front of the speech class {oh, and this is on video}

awesome:
- having someone think that you are above eighteen, our conversation went something like this
nice black guy at Bass Pro: would you like to enter our drawing for $1,000?
me: um, sure, I'll enter my mom.
nice black guy: uh, how old are you?
me: fourteen
nice black guy: OH.
- going to Cinzetti's, the most amazing authentic Italian food I've ever eaten.
- checking a lot off my bucket list/102 in 2012 (I will post on them soon, I promise)
- ordering my 10th grade books for next year {eek!!}
- having blossoms on our tree in our front yard
- watching the play Persuasion
- spring, in general
- music fest. {the picture of the hand-bell is from music fest.}
- journaling
- going on quick bike rides at night
- starting a speech class
- this giveaway!! (it is huge!)
- our God {'nuf said}as
p.s. Samantha is having a couple of wonderful giveaways over >>here<<

haha, cute. :D
ReplyDeleteI agree with most of these! I love it when people think I'm eighteen. A few months ago, I was at a college where my older sister goes and one of the students asked if I'd gone the to that college and if so, what year I'd graduated. Made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteAnd ugh. You're already ordering your books for 10th grade. I haven't even begun to think about those yet.
Like I said, I love this post!
